Hey bob, hows it going! Well im not sure what other strains you have tried but I know Trainwreck is a good medical treatment. I also had a question for you regarding MS. My dad has been diagnosed with MS and so has my cousin(my dads brothers kid) and I have been noticing some of the things they have mentioned happening to me. My right hand seems to always be getting tingley like its falling asleep even if I am using it, my right leg seems to be heavier to lift than the other leg, I have been seeing all these spots and flashes that will only last for a minute or so then go away, and I have been noticing a sharp pain in between my shoulder blades when i bend my head down. From what i know MS is not hereditary but do you think its possible that i could have it also? And how were you diagnosed for your MS? Any info will be greatly appreciated. You might also try some kush strains to help with you symptoms.

Hello you 2, My client who I grow for has M.S. he smokes weed all day takes no pills Just Ganja for medicine. I grow mostly sativias for him, he still gets major shakes like 3-5 a day, but the herb relaxes him very well. I am growing Hollands Hope along with others ofcourse but the HH is a Indica and a moderate one so I want to see how his body does with that. P.S. I live in Oregon how about you 2 ??

bob, im going to be 30 in october and i have been feeling these symptoms on and off for the past 6 months or so i'd say. I really hope its not MS but from what i've been able to research it seems like a lot of the symptoms I have fall into that catagory. I have been smoking a jack harer strain that seems to help me with the seeing of spots and also when my hand will start to twitch so that might be something you could try out. Thanks for any info!

MS Neuropathic Pain / Urinary Incontinence: Trainwreck, Super Silver Haze), NYCD and Sour Diesel. For severe pain, concentrates may be required.

my personal preference for treating MS, is ANY strong Indica,,, i stay away from any/all pure Sativas,,,

the reason is the effects from Sativas- energetic up buzz,, activates my spazticity with this disease,,,

it turns on my shaking in plain terms, makes me shake more,, it makes me vibrate, -try drinking coffeee i end up wearing it.

so for me,, an Indica,, a very very strong Indica, is what i need to treat my issues with MS- Neuropathic pain,, spazticity,,,

indicas turn off my spazticity,,,

someone should take a video of me before/after,, when i am shakin,, what MORE PROOF do these flippin idiots in the medical/political world need???

and yes they have pills for me,, tegretol, neurontin topomax, all these are RX'd for Epilepsy,, not MS and so NOT COVERED for my treatment???
and they have to be taken in large doses to get symptom relief,, very costly,,,

FYI- my RX for Sativex last year was also NOT COVERED by BC Pharmacare., they told me it was of NO BENEFIT for me.

so for Ms in conclusion,, with my needs specifically,, i would have a list with only this-

NO SATIVAS!!!! Indicas Only!!!!!!

my girlfriends sister was diagnosed about a year ago and stopped smoking.
we want to grow her something that would relieve her stress, anxiety, pain, and tiredness. unfortunately there is no medical marijuana here for her, but if she was to move theres no doubt in my mind she could get a MM card.

how ya doing mate
right i first started getting symptoms in 92 my toes started going numb like you get when you are cold it would come and go for about 3 years then i started getting tingling in my finger tips it got gradualy worse over a couple of years then in 98 the shit hit the fan. (i was 33 then ) i woke up one morning and didnt feel to good i went to work during the day i started feeling weak with pains in my chest really deep inside its very hard to explain.
following day i woke up and my feet were quite numb i put it down to a trapped nurve.
following day i woke up and my legs were numb i started getting worried.
the day after that i had the numb feeling from the chest down thats when i went to the doctors.
it took 4 years to diagnose ms 2002.
some of the symptoms i get are weakness in my arms and legs numbness in my face and chest
burning sensation in my feet thats a real painful one feels like youve had ya feet in boiling water.
the symptom that really gives it away is ya ballance starts going like your very slightly drunk.
i do get flashes of light but not often.
other symptoms double vision loss of fine motor movements it can affect every part of your body.
having said all that there are alot of other conditions that can have similar symptoms diabetes is the main one there are others but you dont wanna worry about what ya might have.
what ya need to do is see a doctor and start having the tests
the main thing to do is STOP WORRYING that wont help ya at all easy to say i know.
from what you say about the pain in your back you might have a disc pressing on your spinal cord that might account for the tingling and your leg feeling heavy
i hope what i have said helps you give me a shout any time bob

Hey Bob, thanks for the run down of the symptoms, I appreciate it! I will be moving in 3 weeks and quiting my job so I wont have any insurance coverage. I have wanted to go to the doctor in the past but I just figured that some of the feelings that I had were from smoking bud, like being a little wobbly. So when I am able to get into see a doctor should I just tell him all my symptoms and let him take it from there or should I say that I think I might have MS and tell him my family history and symptoms? From what I've read it seems like everyone that get diagnosed with MS, it isnt detected for a long time after you get seen. Is it true that they can diagnose MS the an eye scan? I thank you for your advice and wish you all the best with this condition. That Jack Harer strain I have is also an indica dominant strain!

when you go to the docs tell him what you suspect is wrong also dont smoke for couple of weeks before you go you want to be sure of your symptoms. the tests i had were an M.R I scan and a lumber puncture in a lot of cases those tests can tell you instantly
good luck mate

Indicas will work better for your MS than a Sativa atleast va 70 % indica preferably.
cheers for the reply
i used to smoke sativar 25 years ago thats what was mainly about at the time (to buy)

Bob-i dont have MS sorry if i lead you to believe that.
my girlfriends sister who is like 26 has it.
shes a real cool girl but she struggles alot with the MS.

are you asking me about working or working out? i dont quite follow
sounds like your saying when youre working hard, your spazams hold off.
whatever works bob, do what you do.:peace:

Were finding that out right now,ive been trying different strains in hopes of finding the perfect strain for my wifes ms,im also playing with the harvest, trying different types of buzz,so far the heavy stone helps her keep her balance where the speedy intense high makes her loose alot of contrrol of her legs.

Im gonna find the perfect strain for her very soon.
