what would you change

simple as that-

without getting all shitty, what WOULD you change about the medical scene in michigan.

no sense pipe dreaming, and we all know the law. inside of that, if we could act as a lobby toward the CULTURE, what could we do to make this better?

i guess i'm thinking towards a long term, stable, industry. NOT controlled by big gov, big pharma, or big dispensary. it would be advantageous if we could maneuver our vessel as to have tactical bargaining position.

First and foremost, even before we get into legal discussion about the law or anything of that matter. i like how you said CULTURE.

with that.. if we want any change. -it has to come with a campaign of education.

EDUCATION about cannabis and hemp. i'm tired of separating the prohibition of both as if i'm happy with just medical. the entire plant has a bad wrap and it can heal millions. this is where our information has to come from. compassion and from the heart. best of all. it is true.

how do you get to Michigan masses about the medicinal properties or the hemp plant itself. i would love to see Michigan farms again used for HEMP!

i feel a honed in project like this with a better study and then local support is a good start. then spread out to as many media outlets and newspapers as possible.

Maybe a pipe dream but, Cannabis growers need to be treated as normal farmers, thats all, there should be no limits or anything crazy and they should leave us alone. I feel the laws are far too disconnected from reality. The stigma really just need to expire, it is rapidly becoming expired. It is a god given plant and we all have a right to it.

I have noticed a lot of doctors on the news and in the papers against cannabis and pushing synthetics. They say things like pot is sometimes laced with heroin. The media seems totally against it. They don't say anything good about he subject nor do they say anything about Ron Paul. The guy wins straw polls all the time, but they filter it out. So what we need are doctors that are for cannabis use and media willing to publish it.

i think alot of the problem is folks who believe that if they speak in a very patronizing tone of voice, and act in very a fake type of calm way(i don't know a better way to say it), that they can just do and say any fucked up thing that comes into their head next. commonly they will say things like" you live in the past" when you try to cite examples of previous failure. or, "quit being so negative" when obvious common sense principles are mentioned.

alot of it has to do with today'smedia reassurance that as long as it makes you feel good emotionally, it must be good for you. it has been my experience discipline, and hard work, win consistently.


is there a way to turn the tables on these real life "trolls"? these couple bad apples are gonna rruin the bunch, and i think it'd be fun to think of a "trick", for them.

You could get some real stink ass weed put it in a box without a return address and mail it to them. If it smells real bad they might get busted. Just an idea merf

A plant can not be patented unless it has been genetically modified, there fore, corporations are unable to make money off of a plant becuase it is grown naturally. That is the business mind and corporate complex.

That and doctors are into disease management not disease curing.

Why wouldn't they cure someone, would that not be doing their job? Oooh or is their job to make money for the hospital and the drug companies..

bingo! Think about all the pills you see on tv. When you go see the doctor they have little sample packs of those pills and they push them on people. The doctors get kickbacks from big pharma to sell the products. Most of the time, the side effects from the meds are worse than the actual illness. So lets give you more pills to counteract the side affects.

My mother had a heart attack and had to get a bypass I hear the doctors in the lobby saying business is good today. They seen me standing there and stopped talking about it. They are there to make money for the hospital.So back to my point we need a good doctor in favor of cannabis use and media willing to report it.

I don't think we should do a test and bluff. If you bluff then no one will believe you when you are for real. We should get a bunch of people together and protest the lack of accurate media coverage. do it rite out side the 9 and 10 or 7and 4 abc nbc news buildings. They will have no choice but to cover the story because we would be in their back yard.We still need a doctor to talk about the medical side

I think they should allow pot stores (but they should have a licines or something) It take some fine tuning to Grow 12 plants and keep a steady suplly of meds with out going over 2.5oz , so in between harvest it would be nice to go to a store and buy my meds. (if i have weed i dont need pills and alcohol, so i would like just to do cannabis.

The first thing I'd like to see is for them to come up with a workable "dispensary" system. Some thing that allows patients and caregivers to transfer meds. That doesn't have to allow for bick and mortar dispensaries, but at lest allow p2p transfers.
