Finally got a piece of lab gear I've been waiting for a while. 3-neck 2L boiling ball for my lab still.

3NeckBoilingBall01.JPG

I still need a couple of fittings like a take off spout for the business end of the condensor and a pour spout to stick in one of the holes of the boiling ball so when pouring out the oil it doesn't gum up the fitting. Somewhere I have a proper electric heating mantle for it but can't find the damn thing and with it should be the 24/40 still head so I don't have to use that other 3-neck Claison adaptor to make it all fit properly. For now I'll just fill that bowl with cheap vegetable oil on the hot plate and now can reclaim my solvents or make everclear etc in style.

You can barely see it but stuck in the neck on the lower left side is an adaptor to allow me to connect 1/4" tubing and feed more solvent/oil mix in while distillation continues. A continuous feed instead of batch processing so I could run gallons thru it non-stop.

Thanks Santa!

I just processed 3 cans of Coleman's Camp fuel twice through my moonshine still and will use a fractionating coluum on the lab still to purify it further before using the naphtha to run a batch of RSO that will be almost as good as clean BHO for toking but made for eating.
