so this is my first time growing photos and im having some issues with leaves slowly yellowing at the bottom of the plant(shown below). some areas on the plant look greener than others like a slight off light green (cant really tell in the pics tho)

growing in soil
soil ph is 6.4 / 6.5
using dry amendments: gaia green 284 and some 444 dr. earth. 90/10
light: mars hydro fc 3000 300w atm
5 gal fabric pots
water less than half gal everyother day
last top dress feed was 11 days ago 1 tbs per gal of soil
plant is in week 3 of flower
what do you guys thank?

Watering too often using too little when you do. Learn how to water by weight. Potassium deficiency seen. Let them dry somewhat. Proper water volume for a 5 gallon should be at least 1 gallon.

so feed more potassium? i do water by weight. im literally watering the perfect amount for no runoff ive tested. im not trying to wash nutrients out of the soil. 60 fl oz to be exact its right under .5 gal

Too little fluid. You're doing it too often if 1/2 gallon does everything but run off.

Is it progressing rapidly? Or it this one or 2 leaves over a matter of weeks? If so. Your fine. You overcare. Your gonna overkill. Essp with watering.

It's over weeks for sure but the whole plant is just off color looking now but it happened slow

so youre saying ive watered to little so many times that its causing these problems? i can give watering more a shot for sure and see if it helps
He's saying you are not watering properly. You're not watering "the perfect amount". Sorry to break the news. Tough love time. I also once thought I could not wash the nutes from soil, however that was an error on my part and I've since learned runoff is a great thing.

Step 1- stop watering.
Step 2- wait until the leaves wilt. so you can learn when the pot is actually dry (lift it at this point). this will not hurt anything.
Step 3- feed with readily available nutrients, full strength. 1.5-2ec (dry amendments takes time to break down, your yield is suffering)
In a 5g pot, this should require approximately 1.5-2g with proper runoff. Prepare your grow to accommodate the runoff somehow

This completes one proper wet/dry/feed cycle. Feeding intervals and levels is strain dependent. Best of luck to you my guy
