On second grow never been above 40, what problems could I run into?

None, zero, not a thing.

You got burnt now your trolling, read the others who support this.

Your analysis is the plant dies, no that doesn't happen or low humidity would have sterelized my whole country of plants long ago.

So you get a real answer not a guesstimate like you gave.
All you do is spread dumb info. None of my first post was my "analysis" hence the quotations. 40% humidity is not that low. The op posted a question to what can happen with low humidity and I gave him a scientific answer. The stomata will close and affect photosynthesis. Low humidity is 20% or less and yes <5% humidity will kill the plant. Do some research dude.

I wondered when you were going to use that card since you never gave a figure, give up your advice was none, zero, not a thing.

If only I was on my first grow again, no that's a long time ago and think you will find anything I grow of suitable standard not to really be able to pick on me for.

Thats a quote itook from the op to retaliate at your comment on shit dying in low humidity.

Read the ops intro, same thing lol
Fair enough. Still is bad advice to say humidity plays no role. Couldn't be farther from the truth. Plain and simple. Again 40% humidity is not that low. The op needs to define what low humidity is not me.

Read about VPD, southside was trying to explain it in his first response. This will not only answer your question, but you'll learn what/why/how VPD affects your plants (or any plants for that matter). Note, leaf VPD is what you'll want to be paying attention to (i.e. you'll need an ir temp gun to measure leaf temp).

This will get you started

I've been running at lower humidity, 20-25% RH, and the plants seem okay, but this is my first serious grow. Maybe they should be bigger.

But I'm also curious about clones. Would the success rate decrease significantly at that level RH? Temp is 70-75dF (65 low at night), some in water cups some in seed-starting mix.

People I found out do not like science mixing with cannabis. Apparently cannabis defies all rules of basic botany. Lol

Totally get the frustration. Best growers are us who are willing to accept we are wrong at times but eager to learn more successful methods.

I have had to high of humidity problems in my beginning years. So funny now trying to convince people praying leafs are not a good thing. Most likely due to high humidity and the stomatas wide open to extract water from the air. People not willing to accept scientific studies explains why religion is still around.

Well said my friend. Thank you. The best growers have had literally every problem discussed on the forum. Knowing how to spot and correct all plant issues makes a good grower. That takes multiple grows. I think everyone on here should do at least 10 grows then they can give an educated opinion.
