hi,

i noticed some browning on some of my plants leaves. the worst affected leaf (pictured) has a few brown circles all over over it.

what could be causing this? here's my situation

temp = low 70's - 80's
lamp = 600w HPS hasn't burned the plant, some taller plants aren't affected
nutes = bio-bizz. haven't used an yet. thought this may be the problem so gave them all a weak dose.
ph = haven't tested in a while

any help would be great, thanks

looks to me like classic ph problem. how can you not test your ph? if it's off one way or another nutes get locked out (are there nutes in the soil mix?) no bugs right?

Here's another possibility, spider mites. Check the underside of the leaves. If you have a magnifier look for tiny crabs. If no mag. look for tiny brown spots.
Are you misting the plant? If so it could be a burn. Droplets can act like light magnifiers.

It looks like a pH problem. Might wanna have a regular routine and check your pH. If you do not monitor your pH regularly then there may pose a problem of nutrient lock where you are introducing nutrients but your plant cannot utilize it as nutrition.

if it is spider mites use ladybugs. give them a light mist twice a day so the bugs can drink. they shouldnt die until every mite is dead. if they are stupid and decide to commit suicide into the nice hot light above use nemoil.

dont forget if you are not using the correct soil you can get nute burn as the nutes are alredy in the soil
you need a ppm and ph meter to be able to solve problems like this
have you flushed the soil at all just to get rid of any nute and ph problems ?

my plant had a similar problem when it was about 1 week old. However Mine never got worse, and any new growth was healthy.

Just based on the finger print of the visible symptoms. I would have to agree with many others and say its a ph issue.
