whats wrong with these seedlings

Anyone knows I havent given it any nutes

What's your setup? Light, soil, watering schedule, etc.

I keep em outside in day and at night put em in my light box with a fan I also use soil

I water when oil feels dry

TWICE mine got that big and just died...........using FF soil

Hmmm. If you started them indoors for example under a few CFLs then threw them right outside in direct sunlight they could be having issues since they weren't hardened off. It could also be overwatering. If you're watering everyday or even every other day it's too much. You get some crazy stuff going on by overwatering. How old are they? Are you using commercial soil? Time released nutrient soil?

Yea I started in house and I got soil from a freind planters pride

I think that direct sunlight may burn them being that young. Why not keep them under cfl's for a week or 2. Just until they have a couple nodes. When I transfer from indoors to out depending on size I put them in shaded area for a day or 2.

There week old heres the one I had since 1st may I nut burned it transplanted it 2 days ago still growing

They're burnt. Your soil is too hot, nutrient wise. Is it Miracle Grow?

The FFOF is too hot for seedlings. Try their Light Warrior for seedlings, then transplant into the Ocean Forest at ?6? weeks.

No pllnters pride but I did give it nutes when it eas too young and I also cut the 2 single bottom leaves off they were severe burned to crisp

You want to start seedlings off in soil with real low NPK. The C leaves provide all the food they need for the first few weeks. Too many nutes..death.

I learned the hard way when I started growing veg from seed. Loaded the soil with compost (fresh...idiot), slow release food etc etc all died. Now I know better. Seedlings require zero food from us until the C leaves start turning yellow..

Should have transplanted into a small pot first. When seedlings first go into dirt they spend most of their energy laying down a root system that will support the plant. By going straight into a big pot you guaranteed yourself a couple of extra weeks of waiting as the plant grows out roots to reach the inside of the pot. AFTER the roots reach the pot there will be new growth aboveground. When that same seedling goes into a small pot the roots reach the inside of the pot much quicker and start growing aboveground faster. Once green growth is noted you are in veg mode. She is still small enough to benefit from another TP'ing into a small pot.
