Whazzup with these clones?

I cut these clones two weeks ago and I still don't see any significant roots on them yet. Maybe there are some almost microscopic hairs growing but for the most part they look just like they did when I cut them - except that they have lost a few leaves and a few have died. Is this normal for them to go this long without growing roots?

did u use ne kind of root hormon ?
i use gel2root they are dixi cups with a rooting gel u just poke a hole in the top and insert stem in to gel i really like this method cus u can leave it root in the gel cup so u can c the root development mine have good root mass after 2-3 weeks and ready for potting

No, they are just as you see them. I was told by a very reputable grower to start watering them so they wouldn't be dependent on the leaves and would start growing roots. Until then I was misting them several times a day. Now I water them every day but not too much.

no you need some kind of dome, that you can seal.like a plastic tub with a lid.
or make a home made dome with a bottle and a clear bag placed over the top, held with ele. band. heres how i do it,f 017.jpg. i keep the lites on 24/0. when done this way they root in about, a week , week 1/2.

yes a dome is needed for sure..the only way they get water to make roots is through the leaves for at least the first week...very humid is what you want

I have a dome setup that I wasn't using. I had been using just the bottom for my rock wool grow but when half my plants turned out to be male, I killed them and I took the bottom out. Here's the pic.

u may as well start with fresh cutting, u gotta really spary down the plants and the inside of the dome, doesnt look wet enough in then then u should have a light abouve it not to intense but it will provide the need warmth for the clones to, as the vaper in the dome goes away u must spary them all the time, specially in the begining when they are just starting to root. hope u can cut fresh clones u will be way better off the ones u have there have already used up thier strenth staying alive this long u need fresh ones

plus i think u should only clone in rockwool much better for cloning, then once established move them to a pot o soil

My plants are about 3 weeks into flowering; is it ok to cut them for cloning now? I had them in RW but it seemed like they weren't doing too well so I was just trying the soil to see if it was any better.

yea u can clone at 3 weeks, i cloned at 2 weeks and they looked normal but once I cloned from 6 week flowering plants and the clones grew but were all weird shaped almost looked like little heads of lettuce

i think the rockwool is good cuz it stays real wet but keeps air in there. when u put your clones in there dont mess with them and tug on them to see if its rooted, ill give them a very slight tug to make sure they are rooted maybe after a week and a half but i wouldnt mess with them too much. get a good spray bottle from lowes or somthing once u got some good rootage pokin outa the cubes u should be able to put them in dirt

oh bro i wouldnt clip from anything flowering. i cliped my clones as soon as sex signs showed , mine too took really long to root, but i used some rapid rooters, i eventually got a dome and used cloning gel, and for nutes used cloning solution, the solution gave me pretty good results, i saw roots after a week of spraying the dome and leafs with it.
it took me like 4 weeks for all mine to root. i hear thats a long time and could ultimantly effect full potential of your plants
