my plant is forming pistols does that mean it is flowering? should i switch to 12/12?

if the answer is yes it is flowering its because of lazyness on my part. i should have bought a timer. my plant is only about 1ft tall and moderitly bushy. how much will i yeild? and how much bigger should it get during flowering?

I could mean that it is showing preflowers. You don't have to start flowering if you don't want to. I'm a little confused, how could laziness make your plant flower?

It will only get a pistol or 2 until you go to 12/12. What approximate time cycle are you on now?

a mature female plant will produce a pair of calyxes at every node. these are called preflowers, and are the basis of knowing when the plant is old/mature enough to BE flowered. plants will not flower before mature, which is why force flowering always creates a 2-3 week stall before they actually start to stretch out and flower.
