1st time using micro, grow, bloom but always use silica. Here's my delima, the manufacturer says add micro 1st but normally I add silica then drop ph to 6-6.5. Do I add micro 1st then silica and drop?
Please don't guess, I need somebody w experience in this situation to answer

Sweet. I ended up adding last, used it like a ph up

Remember how much you used, next time add first.

The way you did it binds calcium. Making it not available to the plant.

That is the reason you add it first.

If you insist on adding it last, make a stock solution. meaning cut it will water. And then it will not be to concentrated.

Another question, what happens if I add silica drop oh then add micro? Just wondering cause manufacture says add micro before anyrhing

Yes I add to gallon of water and shake away, didn't include in the post. Never knew what the outcome would be.

Yeah. That's making a stock solution. If you're are in hydro, look at salts. Mono potassium phosphate, calcium nitrate, potassium sulfate and magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt). You will save a lot over bottle nutes.

Silica is to concentrated, always add first to dilute. Or mix to dilute.

Sounds like you know what you are doing tho.

Just my 2 cents

Add silica and then add micro. Micro will also react and bind if salts are already present in a solution.

The reason bottled nutes are in different bottles is because they with react to one another.

Normally I use silica, aqua flakes, cal/mag, drip clean, full power. Also nitrogen boost, bud ignitor, bud blood, big bud, overdrive, koolbloom, multi zen and bud xl.
Not all @ the same time tho of course

Running a resevore of MB Ferts and a table of Hollands Secret/Future Harvest.

Tables is where I started hydro. I moved to dwc. what substrate are you using?

Refer back to those salts I posted up. if you are comfortable making stock solutions, you will be able to cut down on cost.

Big bud, kool bloom dry and wet, and bud igniter is all "mostly" mono potassium phosphate.

Nitrogen boost is calcium nitrate.

They other important part of all those bottles would be like fulvic, humic and amino acids. Along with vitamins and carbs .

Do you use store bought nutrients?

I use store bought bases. And silica and a cheap kelp product.

My boosters are basic salts that I mix.

Here is a example. I like to mix up calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate. So it's a booster for cal mag and some nitrogen and sulfur. I also believe in using sulfur.
