When do I switch these to flowering.

It's been just over 4 weeks since the germinated seeds went in the dirt and this is them now. Growth has really picked up the past 2 days. How long until I should switch the lights to 12/12 roughly. They're all green and healthy so far

It depends on your yield expectations and how tall they can get before running out of room. For the most part your plants look indica dominant, so they shouldn't get incredibly tall too fast.
All critical kush and they can get 6 feet before its a problem so I guess I could leave them for as long as I wanted?

I wouldn't say as long as you wanted. Simply because you could vegg them to 6 feet ..... I like to follow the rule of expecting the plant to double in height/size once you flip.....so if you have a comfortable 6ft of ceiling I'd say flip around the 3ft mark to utilize your space and allow plenty of room for stretch/growth during flower...GL

if you have master control of your space and are confident you can provide needed resources to a tree why not. go for it.
without atmosphere control and proper lighting and care it will fail. good luck

Advice, what I see in the pics, I like your setup with custom pots and saucers, but get those ballasts off the ground mounted up on the wall or something else similar/up on shellf etc. just get them off the floor, and lay down a tarp or white plastic sheet on the ground, for a few reasons, one being carpet can harbor bad shit.

They're actually all jacked up a few inches with metal/plastic trays separating the pucks holding them up from the carpet, and then there's two small fans on both ends of the row of three, they remain cool to the touch at all times! Also I used a tarp before and found any moisture would get trapped/attracted to the tarp and it seemed to be a mold hazard. I agree no carpet would be best but I'm just very careful with any water and also making sure the drain pans are leak proof

Good point accidents do happen. I'll just hope for the best right now. Lol

It sounds like the Doc up there has the best advice.

Ive heard when your plants are halfway from the height you want/need them to finish at. You can expect your plants to double if you started to flower now, or whenever..

How is this relevant?

Plants look great op! Nice little setup there. Good luck!
op wants to know when to flower right? A plant can get very large over time in veg.
the longer you veg the larger it can get. larger plants will require more atmosphere control than smaller plants right?
a couple tiny flowers in a pc case for example, or a couple 5 foot ones in there,,, get it?

One can veg a plant for a year if one wishes, but wont do any good if you cannot
support its needs. In a room with no controls a smaller flowering plant is preferred.
If its too hot in the room it wont matter when it was flowered.

Flowering time is decided by a grower based on his ability to supply every needed resource to the size plant he
plans on flowering.

hope that helps

sure you can. do you have an ac unit, dehumidifier, fresh air supply, c02, stink socks.. to support trees? go for it, otherwise they end up big unhealthy spindly fluffy nugs...
