when do seeds become viable

how long after removing seeds from plant do the seeds become good to grow?

i would think as soon as they dry out.

im pretty sure as soon as you dry them out you can crack them*

i got weed straight from the plant about 2 weeks ago and ive just planted the seeds 5days ago and there growing now the seeds where still white/green in color

if you can crack them their not good, they are good when they turn from green to brown and yes...as soon as their dry

they do not turn from green to brown. and i ment crack as in pop, germ, sprout, not crack as in crush the seed. however, yes, if you can crush your seed its no good.

oh just a misunderstanding, seeds are green when they are developing on the plant, they turn brown when they mature

best thing u can do is when u take them from the plant is to store them for 2-4weeks.but i can grow them straight from the plant, i did but only %50 og mine germed.

provided they'r on the plant long enough and you cant crush them they should be fine
