when i turn my fans on its take my heat with it.

are my fans over doing it? its only 3 computer fans .1 in. 1 out and one just to move air in the box

i have 4 26w cfl which make the box quite warm when theres not fans on

how can i keep air flow and the temp up?

about 14 degrees c with lights one and the fans on

it should be about 25 right?
well 14 degrees is about 57f, so yes that is colder than you want with the lights on. Not knowing what your setup is would stop us from being able to give you advice. Do you have a journal that would let us know things, like where are you getting the cold air you must be putting in your box, sounds like outdoor Michigan air. This is why you should have a journal and post your questions there. Makes it easier for an old man to follow what is happening. Its kinda like calling a mechanic and saying, "My car won't start, what do you think the problem is?" Your lible to get a response like, 'The problem is the driver'. VV:roll:

I'd say an easy solution to raise your temp in a box is to plug in 1 150-200W (maybe 200w is too much; 100-150W?) INCADESCENT bulb

Keep it away from contact of anything, especially your plant as it will get hot

this is the fan used for moving air round the box

this shows the top fan which it the out and the bottom it the in

this is where the out exits, it a getto muffler thats just a shoe box lid with some fiber glass for the air to pass trought. it kinda works

this is the intake, same set up as be for with a muffler.

note a only have 2 of the big bulbs (one now as i just cracked it) as i havent had chance to get the rest as i have had a shit load of work to do.

and there are not plants in there yet

well if it's that cold in there already, the temp will obviously drop when you turn the lights off, so I'd say yes. as long as it's not super dead air in there then you would be fine with turning fans off.

temps will normally drop 5-15 degrees when you turn lights off depending what you use

How cold is it in your room? Its not going to be any colder in the box than it is in your room, as that is impossible. Keep your room comfortable, between 70-80F, and you will be fine.
