I started two autoflowers sweet tooth and somango in small pots..I've been reading more and more on autos since then and I've read that many people prefer to start them in the final pot (obviously too late for me). Whats the earliest you would say i could transplant? One is 8 days and one is 5.

Transplant them into the larger containers ASAP, being as absolutely gentle as possible in the process.
Next time, just remember to start them in the larger container first, good luck.

As long as you are gentle you can transpla nt 15 days from now. If you know what you are doing transplanting does NO harm! Come on people just because one person said its not good doesnt make it true!!!

I am just learning that lesson myself. My first auto I have transplanted twice. I am really good and gentle at it. I was even thinking of a final transplant at 25 days into a 5 gallon pot! In the future I wont do this with autos though, now that Ai have learned.

Should have seen some of the battering that my last two took during transplanting. They're doing just fine at the moment :)

This is day 10 Auto Somango..I only see one tiny root pushing through the bottom so I am guessing there is still room for more growth, but do you think i should just go ahead and transplant?

I am sure you have transplanted by now anyways LOL...................I am on my 2nd grow now and went with autos this time. I have 3 sweet cheese autos from sweet seeds. I have 2 of them in air pots and the other 1 in an 11 liter pot. have them under a 400watt metal halide inside gl120xl tent. will add some pics soon.

Transplanting doesnt seem to bother autos, I think it all hogwash now. I have transplanted my blueberry auto from 16 oz. cup, to gallon pot, to it's final 5 gallon pot. Thats three transplants and she looks bigger and healthier than ever.
