When should I expect to see roots?

So I just started a DWC grow 4 days ago and the young ones are looking sexier than ever.

When should I expect the roots to start showing through the netcup?

I have been feeding them with res water and the water level is about a 3/4" above the bottom of the netcup.

start the plant with the root tip sticking through the corner of the net cup. if some stem gets in there that is great, it will only cause more roots.

i got roots in under 2weeks...peace

You should see them in 2 weeks or less.I would lower the water level to just to the bottom of the net pot.The air stones will splash water on the net pot and the roots will grow to the moisture,this helps them grow and grow stronger by searching out water and food.They will grow more roots looking for water and food this way too.Just a little moisture go's a long way.PEACE

I say within 2 weeks you see them hanging down. Do you have a fogger in there?

I don't have a fogger, just have the water above the bottom of the netpot.

But got roots coming out the sides, so I guess it is time to lower the water.
