When Should I Start To See Pistils?

Here are some pics of my plant that I started late January. My plant is lagging bc I'm only using some low-wattage fluorescent lights. Anyway, if anyone can tell from these pics, is my plant a female or male? I don't see any pods yet that would hold seeds but I don't see thin clear/white pistils yet either. The thorny looking things are really green towards the top of the plant and and shriveled towards towards the bottom so I just took pics of the top. Any would be awesome, thx fellas!

ps. let me know if i need to post other pics. the plant is really shrubby towards the bottom and sparser towards the top like females.

Do males remain stubby?

have you change the photoperiond to 12/12

no not yet bc my plant is only 18" tall, i guess i wanted to get it taller bc it's growing almost 1/2" a day, maybe a little less, im not seeing much new leaf growth so maybe it's just the stems elongating. should i start 12/12 lighting in your opinion?

more info? lights, etc..... it's up to you when force the flowering man.

during the day i leave outside since i live in las vegas and it's always sunny, then as soon as it gets dark i move inside and it's under a 6500K CFL. how tall should i let it get b4 i move to 12/12? some ppl on here are telling me sunlight and artificial light combo is bad, is that true?

Pinger, Its bad news bears to combine artificial light and sunlight. If its an outdoor plant, nothing will compare to what it gets during the day and leaving under that CFL is probably just stressing it out.. Someone correct me if im wrong but this is what I have been reading around here

that's what ive been hearing. it's weird to me why this is true though. can you tell from the plant if it's stressed. all my leaves are super green the stem is beefy as hell. ive gotton great growth lately. when it's sunny, it grows about 1/4-1/2" a day.

can anyone tell me signs of stress or is it a "mental" thing for the plant? where is the brain located? lol jk, still want the help, thx.

i guess it depends on the strain how soon you can tell. I got lucky from my bagseed plant and it showed pistils like are the 3rd week of growth. First looked like lil sacs, gave it a day saw hairs starting to come out of um. You could put um on 12/12 and check then throw back into veg. I guess, but sounds like youre keepin um outside n inside. Stable lightin schedule?

i guess it is bad to move in and out. i haven heard a reason, just statements but i apprec. the input. i suppose ill just leave inside bc this plant is heavy as fck. i think i over did the pot, used a trash can lol.

im waiting for someone to tell me if you can see signs of stress. for example, if over nute ur plant, you see holes, yellowish leaves, etc. my plant is very green and a beefy stem from all the wind outside. looking to find out whether 18/6 is necessary before 12/12.

im hoping so, i wanted the roots to get crazy. this things weighs for sure over 60-70lbs, it's one hell of a work out to move outside to inside.
