I would say about a week. This way aroma and taste is maximized. I haven't seen this anywhere but I have noticed that you can look at the pistils on the outside of the buds and can tell whether or not the plant is still searching for pollen or has given up. if the pistils are erect, then they have about a 2 week life span before they start to wilt. When the majority of you pistils are wilted I begin to flush then harvest a week and a half to 2 weeks later.
