When to flush 1st time growing

Flushing is very hot topic here, so let me just jump in and say that you can not flush anything out of your plants. You can however flush nutes out of your medium which will then cut off nute uptake from the medium. If you over feed and start seeing leaf burn then i guess that would be an acceptable reason to flush. If you are not seeing any signs of anything bad then I personally would just skip the flush.

I can only give my opinion based on what I see. I notice some leaf tip burn, most of the time I see that when I made an mistake and over feed. I would cut back on the nuts to a little under half strength, maybe less. you don't want burn it anymore but at the same time you don't want to starve it either. I slowly back off on the nutes as I get closer to harvest. You still have lots of white pistils so you got some time.

When you KNOW it is coming down within 1 to 2 weeks you can stop feeding, if you choose, and just water to the finish. If your plants stay healthy until the end doing so is just a choice, not particularly important.

How long you think I have left someone told me two to 3 weeks left
Let me put it this way...

My 7 to 9 week strain is coming down in 4 days...it is at Week 14, day 5. Snowcaine, I'm talking about you. Lol Twenty20 creates a strain out of almost pure sativas, a total of about 80% sativa, and they claim it's done in 7 weeks? It sure was pretty then! And not close. All but one grow I have found online is outdoors...there are no real records of snowcaine indoors. Although I would like 7 weeks...it takes 2x as long!

My 9 to 10 week strains came down between 12 and 13.5 weeks.

If you want the killer you will likely need to go at least 11 weeks, 12 potentially almost regardless of strain.

Learn:
> flowering stages. Understanding what DONE really means is key.
> how to resist harvesting early. You can only think how much more you would have gotten if you pull early.

This.

Never once in my life seen a plant harvested too late. I've seen hundreds harvested too early.

Thundercat taught me this.

This round I stressed and stressed how come snowcaine is a 7 to 9 week strain and not done?? Because they lied! Every round I have to impose self discipline to avoid freaking out on harvest date lol.

Anyone selling seeds knows that flowering times are second only to THC content for many people that purchase seeds. Because of that many just put the standard 8 weeks in the description. Then there are the THC numbers which are just as inaccurate. I don't trust harvest dates except for a few outfits like ACE and I don't believe THC numbers without test results which ACE also provides on their website for a good percentage of their strains. ACE also dates their seed packs. Most of the others are full of crap and will say anything to sell seeds.

I have a buddy growing some of the best weed I've ever had, and he harvests early consistently by 2-3 weeks.

I want to get some clones later this year and see if I can show him what its potential is.
