i vegged her for 10 weeks and she is now almost on her 5th week of flower (by monday). I'm in no rush to harvest her as i want to have a bigger yield and potent

only problem is, that from the middle plant and up............the buds are about 65% amber color and the bottoms once just started forming/budding.

if the top part reaches 90% and bottom part is much lower, can i be able to just cut off the upper portion of the plant that is ready, and leave the bottom area to continue?

This happens alot if the plant is flowered too late well the plant is too big the bottom harf recives not much light giveing you very little yeiled. That is why it is always best to put more plants in and flower small you will recive the same if not more yeiled by doing this because the max light hits the plant because of it's size.It is a good idea if the plant is not reciveing much light lower down then take of the top buds and flower the bottom harf till 75% of the hairs change coulour.Make sure that you check the coulour of the thc you want it a nice amber coulour. The hairs changeing coulour this early in the flowering stage is a problem somewhere in the plant's feed or if it has not been flushed it may be excess salt build up.But the plant should not be done after 5 weeks bro,In future grows get into the habbit of flushing during veg and flowering this will give you a far happyer plant. But it is not too late start flushing the grow medium from now on,I would bet money that the thc has not gone amber even though the hairs have changed coulour.Hope this helps tyke.

ah ok, thanks guys!

yeah i didn't flush before putting it into the flowering stage.

i was thinking what would be good practice is............cause i have 3 different foods for em. a bloom of 5-15-14, citrus (to increase aroma and taste) and the hydroponic bloom, micro , gro. would it be good practice after one week of feeding it one food, to flush, then feed it another kind?
