When to move em outdoor

I moved this post from the outdoor forum due to zero response, lol!I have several plants going under a 400w MH, about a month and a half old, all from some decent bag seed. I plan to take clones from four of the most desirable plants and keep them vegging under the MH. Hopefully at least one of the plants the cuttings were taken from will be a female. I want to eventually move all the origional plants outside to flower. I will keep track of them with labels to tell them apart So i know which clones are female, and get rid of males when identified. My question is this. Looking at our local sun table, it says it wont go to 12/12 till mid september and gets pretty cold here by October. If I start my plants on 12/12 indoor then move them outside, will this shock them too much? And what if I move them out in mid august when the light to dark is more 13/11? I found a great open spot in the woods with a ridge next to it. It gets great early exposure and a good amount throughout the day. Then when the sun gets further to the west the ridge shadows this spot and its dark at least an hour to an hour and a half before sundown. Think it would work if I set them to 12/12 at the beginning of August indoor and then transplant them outside mid to late August? That would still give em six to eight weeks outside before frost concerns. I took a picture of them today, I think they look stretchy and the vegetation underneath may not be getting enough light. I'm thinkin about adding some fluoresent light on the sides to spur more growth under the main canopy. Let me know what ya think, I'm pretty new to this so any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I would put them outdoors in the Fall, around say the end of September. Don't move them from inside under a babied ligt routine of 12/12 and put them outdoors in September.I would veg them indoors until the end of September or leave them outside until harvest. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

Umm......thanks for the response but I already know you put them out in the fall to flower. If you read what i wrote carefully you would have seen that i cant flower them in late september because of frost in October. It does not leave enough time to flower. Read my post again please, I appreciate your help and further advice.

I did read that, but here's what you can do:12/12 them until flower formation is getting full and put them outside during the month of September and allow the rest of the long days of sun to help finish them. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

Cool, I see what your sayin. If I start them inside at 12/12 and put them out in late August when the light outside is at 13/11 will that screw up the flowering already started? I really want them to finish out mostly outdoor and to do that here is to get em out in time to mature before frost. Putting out in mid september would only leave a few weeks of outdoor growth before frost. We have had it here as early as the last week of September.
