Hey guys I’m on my first personal grow. I have a few WizardPunch & WizardPunch x Blissfulwizard females in flower. They are supposedly 8-9 weeks strains. I’m at 7 weeks and 3 days. Do you guys have a idea on when I should start flush? I been growing in 1g fabric pots, 50%Coco 50% perlite using advanced nutrients. Is it when tricomes are 75% cloudy I should start flush or?? I need help I see many threads but none really gives a good idea they jus tell you to go by wat the Breeder says wen the plants should finish but I can tell now a few of my females are going to go longer then 9 weeks. One should finish around 8 weeks. Thanks for the help guys I’ll really appreciate it

It is not really needed in coco.
I flush a bit, but only because I run pure hydro.
I had to laugh this weekend when one guy tried to praise the weed by saying how he can taste the good soil it was from...
Those of you familiar with my growing style know I don't use a medium in the traditional way.

I don't know about coco, but in general, don't worry about trichs in terms of when to harvest/flush or whatever, just learn first to judge the plant as a whole - once the calyxes have swollen up good and aren't getting fatter anymore, and most of the pistils have receded/browned, then what I do is decide at that point how much longer I want to let them go, usually a week more at the least, using only plain ph'd water... No need to go overboard on flushing with tons and tons unless you think you have a salt buildup or have been using a lot of synthetic nutes... This extra week or two with just water gives the plant a chance to use up it's carbs and sugars as I understand it...

what do you mean "taper"? never heard of that term before o_O you mean like weaken your nutrient dosage and if so is this only for coco runs or soil as well?
Exactly and both.

This is a controversial topic, but I believe a taper is the best overall method, just my .02

I run 50/50 coco/perlite. I never flush as I don't want to starve my plants at the end. I simply taper down a little but I never over feed either.
