Just curious. Is it better to water before lights out or right when they come on? Or doesn't it make a difference as long as they've got water? I'm in 12/12 now.

I prefer to water right as the lights are coming on so they can drink during there most active period, my friend does it after the lights turn off and his plants are always just as healthy from what I have seen.

it's all preference .. Like me & alot like other growers like to water when Lights are on (or when they Just come on) but thats just me

I typically water about 4-5 hours before the lights come on. If I am worried about fungus gnats, I will water with lights on to see if there are any coming out of the pots when I water. Fungus Gnats aren't something I worry about very often. That being said, I water with lights off about 95% of the time. More because it is convenient than any other reason...

yeah i always water a couple hours b4 lights on or try to but if spraying do it at night
My growing guru, Jorge Cervantes, advises that best time to water is just as the lights come on. The only thing I do different is to make sure I water a couple hors before harvesting. I've done a lot of experimenting and found that the nugs are juiciest 2-3 hours after being watered. So if I'm going to harvest a plant at 5 PM I won't water that one until 2 or 3 PM. Works for me. Nice looking plant! At first I was going to criticize you for keeping the plant short. Then after looking better I can see that you have got a tremendous amount of secondary-growth with a bushel of buds. Did you top or FIM her while in veg? That is a wonderful phenotype that looks ideal for my type of grow. I'd appreciate a reply back letting me know what if anything you did during veg to achieve that desirable shape. Thanks, BigSteve.
