When will it start showing pistils?

Are you growing indoors?

There's many ways to make a 3 meter plant 1 meter tall. Training and techniques.

Well we are here to help and some of us older growers know a thing or two about stealth and camouflage.

thieves everybody wanna sell it or smoke it they rip it off when buds starts to show they don't even let it mature
Yep rippers are scum. I have fences around my gardens and pay friends or trimmers to camp in my full term spots.
And booby traps for other remote spots.

Are you sure this is correct? THIS and THIS both are in line with what I'm saying and I everything else I find just mentions that preflowering takes place between 4-6 weeks. I'm not here to argue, I'm just genuinely curious if what I've seen and read is uncommon.
Brother ive popped at least 5000 seeds in my times growing my self and sexed many many more plants than that. Hundreds of thousands if counting hemp. And there's no way to say females usually show first.
When i can see sex i pull the males mark the females. The next day males and females. The next day males and females. By the fourth day everything should be declared.
So many people think they can just grow the plant and after some amount of weeks it just shows sex. Yes if its started in earlier spring outdoors with no extra light they can sex. But not absolute at all.
But under lights ive had friends call me to take a look at a "female". The brown pistil they see is usually a browned and shriveled leaflet at the node. Near where youd expect to see a hair.
Plants started during long season outdoors wont sex till August even in the tropics.

As far as preflower im not sure im understanding how you are using it. Preflower to me is the transition the stretch from veg to budding.

The definition of "preflower" I go by is what I've learned in books and on the web which is the first signs of sex that show before the plant is flipped to flower. While I have popped closer to 100-200 seeds (not anything close to 5,000 (:) I've always been able to clearly ID males about a week before I could clearly ID females.

Oh, just to clarify, I never said females show first, I said the opposite of that.
No ot wasnt for that. The whole usual thing is in my opinion based on some knowledge some experience but not enough. Its wishful. And can confuse beginners or lead them down the wrong track unknowingly.
If a plant is in veg its a very small chance that it will just show sex. Like i said even in long season that is not what happens. You know what does the day length. In spring befor mid or late may a plant may be 3-4 weeks old and the day length is still short enough to induce flowering, preflowering or showing sex. Whatever term you are comfortable with. Its not the age that determines when a plant will show sex.
There's few hard absolutes in cannabis genetics. And ive seen some plants show sex, and clearly while in veg but thats less than 1 percent that do that.

Says the guy covering his ass!
GTFO usually females show first.
Covering my ass how?

I certainly could be wrong but, every time I've grown from regular seeds, which to be honest has only been a handful of times, the males have shown up before the females.

She’s not gonna tell, she’s a lady. They love keeping you in suspense.

Try looking in the top third of the plant, theres got to be something. On some strains ive had to have a magnifying glass and kinda open the calyxs to see a hair. If no balls yet its hopeful but not gauranteed female. But id ne putting money on its a sneaky male if there's no sign of sex yet. Ive seen them sneak thru April-may sexing then all of a sudden in mid August the whole plant declares male. Sucks chopping a 7 footer and many potential pounds lost.
Did you try some phosphorus to induce flowering/sexing?
