when your can filter dies do you have to buy a brand new one?

I cant believe an air filter that costs over $200 would have such a terrible life span of just a few months or about 4 harvests is what I hear. Do you really have to keep buying brand new $200 filters or are there cheap replacement filters you cant just slip on your old can? I dont sell, its just for personal use so I cant afford to keep pumping money into filters!

generally You'll need to just get a replacement filter for it only, not the whole thing.

for example, ive got the GrowBright 4" Inline Fan & Carbon Filter Combo from htgsupply.com, the replacement filter costs 5 dollars, i dont need to buy a whole new filter combo just replace the old.

If your talking about the carbon filter then YES, when it stops working you are better off buying a new one as we dont want any of the local hoodies trying to steal your stash..
