Where am I here?

I gave them straight water today, normal feeding up this point so I will make another check on Monday. I have clones of these girls ready for the room and some fruity seedlings queued up after that. So beyond it being my first legal and first grow in over a decade I'm pretty eager to chop. Also like to implement changes that I learned in this grow.

I was a little surprised, in the past I grew Ice and Bubble Gum, they looked very different growing, these guys look very similar. The biggest difference between them I can see is yield.

Forgot to mention, I live in the great Commonwealth of Va myself.

None of this happened with my past grows, it was stealth no bi-directional comms at all.

I was planning on this weekend. Have three clones and I have 4 seedlings behind that I need the room. I dealt with low temps low 60's every night and a ph issue that led to a ph issue during flower trans about 4 weeks. Ready to chop, learn and re-grow.

I don't disagree with those saying giving it more time as such just ready to move on and apply lessens learned. That seedling group includes Banana Kush and Strawberry Couch two I'm really want to try.

Whats the difference between skywalker og and skywalker haze? Anyone know? I've seen a lot about og but not haze. I have haze growing.

Just harvested the clones, just 3 let them go to 10 week 70 days. Yield was up by 3 oz, quality is about the same. Grow went smother is some ways, worse in others. I did less trimming and had some bud rot. A few bud's hermied, most likely from a lite leak from the door being cracked one night.

This is lovely tasting but it's not very strong, in fact it's what I imagine a CBD low THC strain to be like. Got new genetics for the next grow which is a week into flower. Assuming the genetics were ok what else might lead to it being weak?

Hmmmm, what kind've light setup are you using? Because aside from genetics, an inefficient light source could be an issue, or possibly the drying/curing phase. Nutes could also be a factor. More info would be needed to make a better assessment, and I appreciate the input and feedback thus far. For not being very strong, they sure looked great

Dried yield weight was 377g about 60g more than my last with this setup, not counting the really fluffy stuff at all. The physical space is 4x6 but it's off center [ X] something like that. My first grow with this setup was sea of green, the second was the jungle version of that, not enough leaf trimming.

It's a Mars 3000 FC-E3000 300Watt LED manf. coverage 3x3 flower. Distance from the tops is about 15". While it could be something else any closer both times I ran into leaf issues. They seem to like 15-20" of distance at 100%.

Well water base Ph 4.8-5.2 around 30ppm ~same as local rain water. I adjusted the Ph for these to around 6.5-7 grow 1 and 6-6.5 grow 2. I don't at all for my potted outdoor experiments and they seem great for being mostly shaded.

Nutes are a combination of the Fox Farm fill soil, coco loco in this case and Jack's 321. Around week 3-4 I started feeding Jack 321. Typically this would look like 1 gal of Jacks 321 full strength and 2 gal of water. That would be over 3 plants each in 3 gal pots once every 3 or 4 days. Ph range was 6.5-7.

Other Cal-Mag, and myco mix in soil or with water. I might use 3 table spoons of cal-mag over the whole grow. Myco's only around pot change which I've now moved to 5 gal.

Run off TDS range 1200 to 700 was what I went by for feeding. So it wasn't auto that I fed them additional nutes.

During the day the room gets fresh air but at night they don't. By fresh air I mean air from the rest of the house, at lights out the door is shut.

As for drying and curing doing 7-10 around 70F/60% then they get burped in zip lock bins 3 or 4 weeks.

Bro your lights need to be 30" from tops. Trust me. Thats a powerful light. Less is more. Led's are tricky cuz they give slow light burn u dont notice til later in bloom. Leaves yellow and curled near tops and middle where light hit the most. When u see that just know u are burning trichomes which kills taste and flavor. U will even have less smell in your garden. So raise or turn down light is my advice for better smoke.
The plant will only use as much light as it needs. The extra will give u less everything cuz its working harder to compensate by drinking more, wilting and running from light heat.

thanks for this thread- i am on a grow with ILGM lemon haze (80% sativa) at the start of week 9. My trichs look similar to yours and the diff in yield (as opposed to quality of product) seems the same. this is a grow from both seed and clones.

I chopped about this time on the last grow but continue to wait as buds swell but ratios of clear to cloudy remain the same...........Ive been drying and smoking the buds for about 10 days with no obvious diff in quality of smoke. I been giving them plain tap water for over a week............
I should take some pics. Still, I have to hunt for ambers on the tops of top buds..........

But man, this is good smoke!- we can all react a little differently to the same stuff. I dont know why yours disappointed you, since the buds look good to me...........

They seem larger this time at week 9 than last (the top buds). and more mature. Maybe since they were more mature this time at the start of the flip......... I dont really know

:(

I'm not satisfied because I end up smoking an oz a week vs 1/4 of decent bud. All while never achieving more than a mellow buzz. So that's not going to work for me.

Based on appearances, yield, smell and taste I was happy the last three exceeding my expectations. So you could say the smoke is great as long as don't care about the buzz.

Otherwise the growing and curing experiences seem similar. My first grow was 4 from seed and clones from the best 3. My new grow is all new from seeds from Seedbank. The switch in vendor was because ILGM didn't have what I wanted on sale at the time.

I will say so far their Strawberry Cough and Banana Kush would be good for stealth grows, so far they don't smell like weed at all. Just a faint fruit plant smell. I also have a Chocolope and Purple Punch going that aren't fooling anyone.

Those were ILGM seeds, no? arrows point to genetics, but that is just a guess. Mine has almost opposite effects, meaning it is low on odor and taste but with 1 pipe load it will keep me going all morning......................

That really concerns me on your effect cause I was planning on getting more seeds there..........

:???: I want that long lasting buzz , not a sleeping pill (usually)

What you saw here is ILGM. Most likely Skywalker OG buds, but I also grew Bruce Banner and Black Widow. At this point I'm baffled but I'm not blaming them.
