All of a sudden jump guessing u flowering ??? She obv knows cos u said she cool with growin,she smokes,u seen evidence of bill,is it just yr bill or others on meter ???

Eighty bucks a month for the stuff you listed sounds like a lot. One 400w? Like someone else suggested, it's simple math using the KwH price to know what your grow costs. And to be certain, you can get one of those Kw/amp meters from Home Depot to know what stuff is using for electricity.

Are you in a condo like place where someone could of gotten into the power distribution area and tapped into you? I have heard of that happening. Is it possible a neighbor may have ran an extension cord to one of your outdoor outlets? In my area, winter includes snow so that would cover the cord and be missed unless you really looked and found a cord coming out of the snow plugged into your house.
With the price of fuel going up, it could also be a increase cost of power from the crappy economy. Check if there was a rate increase.

Your landlord is involved with your electric bill, it sounds like both of you are on the same electric meter is that right?
If that's the case maybe your added usage + landlord usage is placing you and landlord in the next expensive tier rate thus multiplying your bill.
If you had your own account I don't think it would have jumped as much considering it would be you and only you, & overall usage would be less.
Have you seem the bill personally or do you just trust his/her word?

The other neighbor(same landlady) already tried that, and she said eventually it was just free clones coming her way.
Not only did she show me the bill, she showed me old ones. But I think you might be right on the bill being higher because both of us are now in the same bracket. Once you hit a certain amount of elec, they start charging you for it.
DO you think it could drop enough if I had the lights on @ night instead of the morning?
Do you think under 400w I could make it worth the extra hundo a month? I spend that much every week on weed.

400w HPS is going to far outproduce a 100w T5, I think you will be disappointed in your yield if you use a T5, but if that is all you can do, that's all you can do, make sure you get some 2700k bulbs for it though.

Yes keep the fans on, they are needed. You could put them on a timer and go on/off 15mins, but why?
Get a 600w hps, most efficent. For 200 watts of more electric you are pretty close to doubling lumens. I run a 400 but the efficency of the 600 is enticeing, have to have a air cooled fixture with my small grow space, but it is gonna happen.

It would be better to have the lights on at night i think, better temps too. Might even be cheaper rate.

Is someone taping your lectric? Even at 20cents a kwh that light should be costing you less than 30 bucks a month. Is it really cold where you are? could be that alot of your costs are related to heating...shoot man... a small lectric heater uses @least 1500watts

You said you live in cal, where at? In the bay area we have a 3 or 4 tier system with each tier costing more kwh depending how much you use. The 4th tier is 40 cents a kilowatt so it can get expensive. I would just pay it because its not really that much. Youll get more than $220 worth of bud, or atleast you should
