I’m trying to get an idea of what people really like to smoke and grow..
Things have changed so much with reefer til I can’t tell sometimes what the hell is going on with all the names. I’m going back to thin leaves to fat leaves... chime in if you will!!

I’m wondering about these hybrids.. at times they seem confusing ex.. a sativa that normally takes 16-22 weeks now takes 11-12 weeks is hybridized with an Indica.. I have to wonder if I’m getting any effects from the sativa side and vise versa have I over done the Indica side.. I don’t think these hybrids are working for me... I think I need to start choosing a dominant strain at least...

Depends the situation. Should start by giving my situation to help you. I’m a disabled veteran with back issues and PTSD. In the morning, I know it might be odd, but I like a real heavy Indica to start my mornings. After a few hours I like to switch to a Sativa dominant hybrid, unless I have to really get a lot done then I’ll go full Sativa. Usually by mid afternoon I’m switched to an Indica Dominant till I decide to try and sleep (I don’t sleep much), then I go with indica, the heavier the better

I have back problems and the best way is small amounts often. Both give me relief just sat strains arent so heavy.

Theres too much chucked crossed criss cross hybrid strains you need to.look around. Go back to the old strains and it gets a whole load easier to select a darn good sat or indica and all in between.

Actually find the high of a lot of modern stuff too convoluted, too mixed. The old strains take me to a better place allround and one real thing i love is the high rather than the strength, a lot of non super high stuff gets me faaar more baked than the super high stuff and better trip all round.

I like all of them. I prefer to grow indica dom hybrids to keep em short, but now that I'm starting to grow outdoors I'm thinking a full sativa might be in the cards, as long as I can figure out a way to get her to start flowering early enough to finish here.
This year we had snow before Hallowe'en (love how the site thinks the proper spelling is a mistake) just like when I was a kid, so 12-14 weeks might be aiming a bit high.

Agree with king row, everything is so convoluted now to find what will actually work best you have to try maybe a hundred or more strains now. I’m still finding strains I think work better for some things, and am currently trying to breed a Personal strain by crossing two of my favorites

Start it early indoors, move it to outdoors in spring at a few feet tall already, if you have that option
Then you use tarps or something to start darkness earlier than nature allows

I started my grow indoors this year, first plant was 18 inches tall when I moved her outdoors.
If I do grow a sativa outdoors next year I'll probably top her aggressively to keep her size down. I would probably keep her in a pot and move her indoors to a darkroom, like I did with my Cherry Bomb this summer. She was done just as my girl in the ground was starting to stretch.
Screwed my back up a bit when I was in the Army, so it was a bit of a pain in the ass, but the result was worth it, especially since my outdoor girl was stolen this year.

Ok I thought it was just me..
That’s it King I’ve gotta find that old school weed..I got all these damn seeds and but some off my best high so far have come from my white widow and an Apollo plant..
I’m so stuck in the 80-90’s..
I’m gonna look over my seeds and rethink things..

Lol, I wish I could get my hands on some of the weed I had in the 90's. I remember when everyone was asking for "hydro" because none of the stoners I hung out with knew what it was.

I WISH I had the problem of deciding which seeds to grow. I’d love to be growing a wide variety. If I had the money I’d have 6 5x5 tents in my garage each with one plant of its own strain, and I’d be giving medicine away to so many at that point, but just pipe dreams as I’m far from having the funds to do anything even close, hell Im having to save for a long time so I can get an extended height tent to see what I can do with a Sativa indoors
