Which is better? More or less?

If you have a high powered LED light, while applying the “gram per watt” idea, would it be better to fit several plants under 1 light or just a few? For example, 6 plants vs. 2plants?

When I say “better”, I mean which one gives the better yield in your experience? Or which one just gives an all around better growth?

Number of plants doesn't matter. It's the size of the grow space that matters. Two big plants in a 4x4 will yield the same as four smaller ones in the same space.

Comes down to time IMO. 4 plants take shorter to veg to fill that area, but 2 larger plants will take longer to fill out. Same amount of bud.

Comes down to preference, I prefer 2 big ones and fill it out. No reason wasting 2 seeds for the same amount of bud! But to each there own.

Edit: my 4x4 with 2 girls, filling out the space. Takes time.. but much easier on the wallet with Nutes, seeds, and medium.

It's all personal preference. Do you want wall to wall plants or do you want some open space in there so there's no crowding? I've never been concerned with yield, I just want clean, healthy, well-cared-for plants and I feel for me, that is best achieved with 2 plants at a time. Less shit to manage and less opportunity for something to go unnoticed as I can rotate the plants and easily see what's going on pretty much all the time. I don't use a net either for this very reason as well.

I agree. Its about filling the space (that the light is in) with as many tops as possible. So technique is more important than number of plants. More plants will fill the horizontal space quicker and allow an earlier flip.
On the other hand, if you train a (photoperiod)plant for about four months in veg, you can fill a 4x4 horizontally with one plant. In places where plant number limits exist such as mine, it is advantageous to use this technique because you can potentially yield 1-3 pounds per plant with adequate lighting.
