Hi guys
I'm getting ready to buy a good LED lamp for a 3x3 surface, I want to use 100% of my plants, so I want it to be suitable for my box, what can you recommend me?

More details.

Box?

How high?
Headroom will affect distance between light and plant and will influence choice of light.

This! For so many reasons. Both climate and availability of gear.

With leds it's very important to be able to have very tight environmental controls. Led plants hate the cold so if your renewing the air inside with cold air from the outside led might even not be your best choice. If you need to o put in 500w of heating in your box in order to keep temps up then saving a hundred watts on lighting isn't a good deal.

Also, the area you're growing in will condition you to what gear is available.

If it's mainly a personal grow with a few autos I'd say a 315 CMH should be in the running aswell, it's just a bit easier to grow with if you want a simple and effective solution.

I have a HLG 350R in mine and love it. For my needs, if the light ticks all of my boxes AND delivers at a very high efficiency allowing me to deliver the needed PAR at a lower electrical cost than similar light, then that’s the one for me. YMMV.
I have a good friend with one an hlg 350R and he hates it. He says his sf4000 kills it fwiw.
That said, I still rock 1ks just DE's now and have no beef in the led game.

Why does he “hate it”? Lol. Also, the SF4000 is similar to the HLG 550Rpec NOT the 350R, so that a pretty ignorant statement to say it “kills it”. My 600Rspec “kills” my 350R but they have completely different footprint... So why are you bringing this stupid shit up?

No need to go nardo. Just was throwing it out there what a good friend said about his lights.
Why did it make you so angry?

Who would need to put 500w of heating in a 3x3? Run on 100% most of the leds aren't that cool that you cant just dial back your exhaust/intake.

Unless someone NEEDS heat I don't see how a 315 makes anything easier.

Those Mara fc or fce3000 fit perfectly in a 3x3. If you're trying to save even a couple more bucks you can keep an eye on the deals and steals thread there are always lamps for cheap
