which less than ideal lighting should I use?

I know that autos tend to produce the most under a 19/5 light cycle but my area with that timing is my veg room (200 watt envirolite, 6400K). Would my autos do better in my flowering room? (400 watt HPS)
Thanks

Edit for clarification: My flowering room is on a 12/12 light cycle.
I'm trying to grow autoflowering strains in areas where normal plants (12 hours of night for buds) are growing.

I don't see why that would matter. ?
all variables matter if your growing one plant id say go for it if your trying to grow out 6 i would say to supplement your 200 watt with cfl's
see i assumed you were talking about more then one because you said "auto's"

It matters much. 100w per plant is the minimum, with 50w per each extra. Again, the bare minimum for most lighting.

I looked up your light. One CFL bulb, 200w. Enough for one plant, doesn't really have the coverage for anything more.

i get good amounts of bud off my auto's alot more then ive seen on other grows
its very airy buds though i wont lie
i personally dont care it handles my needs
i run two 135w led's 3 w diodes a full spec and a bloom spec
and a lil over 400 w of cfl 2700k 68 tru watts a piece
im also running 9 part nutes in a almost soiless mix
my foot print is roughly 3x4 feet
i can handle 4-6 auto's

The lamp is absolutely fine for vegetative growth. That is what its main purpose is. Also its enclosure is very small.

i guess you dont care if you have tiny plants
i personally dont care if you do
dont ask for help brother if your just going to disregard the best answer
the same argument has been presented by multiple people
if i heard the answers then personally i would be finding more light watts are watts
lumens are lumens and the only advantage of running multiple lights is the angle that they hit

you want no shadows or dark spots
and you want red spec lights the blue's make a short stocky plant reds make them stretch and light can penetrate easier so you get more under growth
honestly the only way to flower under that cfl is run 24/0 and scrog 2 plants close together woven almost but then again whats the point of doing all that if your still 300 watts away from good buds almost not airy buds?

What is it that you're pissed off about?

not pissed just stating the facts :D
it gets irritating to help answer questions
and just to hear it'll be fine
then 10 weeks later someone is posting " AUTO'S SUCK " dont grow them there a waste i only got a 1/4 bag out of it

in all honesty your light will be fine if and only if you use small pots very small and expect very little yield and oz or oz 1/2 off of 4 very root bound plants

Did you read the question that I asked at the start of this thread? I'm very aware that they could be growing under better conditions than they are.

Basically the question was: Which is better for auto-flowering strains?
A. 19 hours of not very strong light at the wrong color
B. 12 hours of stronger light at the correct color

veg them under the cfl and then move to the bloom box would probably be your best bet
defeats the purpose of a auto in my opinion
12/12 really shouldnt be a option with a auto but to each there own
your best bet is to get your watts up in your veg room the cfl is fine but not by itself when it comes time to flower
