which medium to use?

Buddy if you REALLY want to simplify things and use a formula that's easy and I know for a fact works great... Get yourself some fox farm ocean forest potting soil and some dr earth flower girl fertilizer. That's all you need. There is enough in the soil to get all the way through veg, then u follow the instructions on the bag of fertilizer for bud (same thing I told you... Feed once at beginning of flower and once halfway through). Done! Totally organic, easy, cheap, and I promise it really works.

okay thanks

how do you suggest i put those lights up all together? this is a picture of it

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fluoresc...arting_Hydroponics&hash=item231d78f501&_uhb=1

it has only one slot available to plug in the light

i think ur supposed to use the 6400k one during the early grwoth, and the 2700k one for flowering

Ok I see what your asking. The blue spectrum is for veg and the red is for flower. You can also alternate them day to day or week to week, but that's what they're intended for. Plants like both spectrums in both phases but they use more blue in veg and more red in flower. Use the led at the same time though and you'll just hang them over the plants and move the plants around under them.

So i should stick with the suggested system? Blue for veg and red for flower?

also since the LED has a full range of colour, doesnt that compensate for the CFL lights? because i will be planning to leave the LED light constantly

Any of them are good. Growing thc bomb myself right now. It's the purplest purple in the world I think. I've got heavy weight fast and vast too. You feed auto strains a little differently... Lots of good info in the auto flowering section of RIU. It's actually a little easier. You'll just feed once after 4 weeks if you use the method we discussed. That's it.

I skimmed over the thread but I'm not sure about soil but can't think what could be easier than bag ready Coco & a 1pt solution like CNS17...no threat of over watering, lil threat of rot, zero chance of nuking them if following bottle instructions...

and again, I'm no forum legend but I couldn't screw up some Cinderella 99; dam easy plant, very fast
consensus on easy strains has Northern Lights (no personal experience) and Skunk & Cheese
my THC bomb didn't germ
