You get up to 80% of retail toward the new model...but you must consider shipping rates and if that offset is worth it to you.

I have the OG model, but for just me and the wife I probably could have gotten away with the mini without issue, doesn't take long to press another puck.

Those juice boxes are extremely small, unless they upgraded their sizes recently...

Personal rig. @shroomhaze to answer your question, the plates was easy, the press took the longest to assemble. I did need to remove one crossmember to get both plates to fit. Takes about 15-20 minutes for plates to balance heat.

If I built this again, I would choose plates with two heating elements for faster warmup period.
