White hairs not turning amber. No bud development!

Hi,

Noob here. Got Afghan Kush at day 55 from 12/12 switch over. Supposed to be ready in 65-75 days according to grower. However, as you can see, there is no bud development and the hairs have been white for an awfully long time. Also, the fan leaves have been slowly dying from bottom up from 2nd week of switch over.

I have another plant which has a longer flowering time and is doing fine.

Feeding BioBizz Grow and Bloom. CFL's.

What could be the problem guys?

It appears to be dying. The fan leaves are dying off too fast.

Have you checked the ppm and ph of the runoff water lately? That might tell you something. It could be overfed.

I got 1 x 55 watt 6500k and 2 x 105 watt 2700k. I've got them all on for flower.
I haven't checked the ph although my other plant is doing fine. What is ppm? I don't even have a ph checker.

oh, I could just scream. that pot is tapered, and too small. stop with the feeds. keep a close eye on water. take it in for a landing. it'll be aready when its aready.

use larger pots, cylindrical in shape, filled to almost the top.

Why is your pot only half full of soil??? Next time, fill with soil almost to top of pot. Second, always keep the dead leaves out of your garden as soon as you see them. It's good practice to cycle between feeding nutes and pH water only. Cfls have poor penetration and some leaves will inevitably die over time. As mentioned, keep pH in check at all times...get one of these or something similar to test pH

Finally, the 65-75 days is only a guide for harvest...use a 30-100x mag to view trichs

So, if I fill transplant to bigger pot it will give me bud instead of just hairs?

The soil level is ridiculous. When they first popped from seed I realised that I had only half filled the pots. What a stupid noob mistake. Learn as you go that's what I've loved so far but getting some bud off the girl would be great to avoid disheartening and disappointment, not to mention some high times.

Shall I flush it out. I need to get a ph tester. I need it to look like my other girl. Tasty

forget about that. ripen in that. next time use a proper pot. there are no nutrient/ water reserve capacities in such a small mass of medium, when compared to root mass. the bigger the pot, the more stable your grow, imo.
just water when appropriate, but keep a close eye on moisture. a large root system can really drink, when it wants to.

Btw thanks for all the replies.

For some reason I'm not convinced that the lack of light is stunting growth. My other plant looks fine like I said with a longer flower period.

Shall I upload pics of the other 1 too so you can have a fuller picture of why the bud is not there?
