hi everyone,

im confused with these white pistils, on most of the buds the pistils are brown and ready but the main big one not yet. Does it mean it still needs a week or 2 before harvest ? knowing that I've been trimming lots of yellow leaves since last week. im worrying if the smaller buds are gonna lose their THC while im waiting for the main bud's pistils to get brown.

if you're an experienced grower im really in need of an advice pls..

You could harvest top buds but I would say to you my friend patience. Patience said the old slow man to the young fast kid you must be patient. Or as they say on riu two weeks

It looks toasted. I don’t think it will get better. The buds have already been introduced to dying leaves. I’m guessing it’s not going to have a favorable taste. I’d saw that thing down asap for drying & hopefully be able to save most of it for washing. However I’d have a look at trichomes to see where you’re at before making a decision like that.
I noticed on one of my plants that about a week past it’s ideal chop time, the buds are busting at the seams so to speak. Like a foxtail wants to push its way thru. I’m seeing new green calyx pushing thru where there was color.
so that top could be overcooked.

Those top colas with withering yellow leaves should be inspected for budrot asap.

first time I get such bud too.. busting at the seams like u said.. been patient with It while lower buds were getting cooked.. but now almost all lower buds are cooked on the top, but not the main one.. I mean as u can see those are the last white pistils of it.. there are still some more white pistils down bellow too but just in the very small buds that weren't under direct light.. so what u think bro ?? Hippoo is saying I should wait still a week or even two till everything(pistils) is brown.. in the other side im here worrying bout the dankness level.. (THC)

If you still have underdeveloped bud below, spread them out with some low stress training to get light down there & give them the time suggested. Giving them more time is almost never a bad idea.

Your calyxes are stacking.
Some strains are prone to it.
Genes. Sometimes light intensity will trigger it.
You already missed the window though, and I would cut it down now.
