You can LST em, tie em down but they grow a lot in the first weeks of flower up to 3 times as big in 3 weeks

Ok this may seem a stupid question to you , I have google it and found too many conflicting advice. Got some seeds growing, when do I start to feed them. I have Canna Coco feed, where you fill up a resovoir at the top of the bottle. Can you tell I am new to this ??? NO thought not ! I have A + B feed, I know one is for vegetatian and the other for flowering, I have always been a brilliant gardener growing all my own plants, but this weed of a plant is getting me panicy , I want my babies to survive and flourish. Also I have a 250 watt bulb, a dual growing speturum bulb, are the seedlings suppose to be under this now, they are about 3 weeks old, seems a bit harsh to me, been told they should be under now. Did do 6 and followed other peoples advise, they are weak seedlings with small growth on leaves.could be the seed, not sure, done 3 more 'fem' seeds and they have shot up healthy and sturdy, but they were only under the light about 3to 4 days, the rest of the time they have been sat on my sunny windowsill getting natural daylight . Please give me some advice I can understand and that will help, coz everyone elses advice ain't worked. thank you for taking the time to read this long rambling question . shouldn't have done it after a smoke !!! . Thanks Lydia

Best advice I can give you is to go with what you already know, ignore conflicting advice, growing this plant is no different than growing tomatoes. If you have been a brillant gardner you will be fine.

All the bullshit is about pushing the plant, most of which is myth and folklore

IMO, LED's are still not advanced enough to take over, but in the near future could very well be where things go as the technology advances. That being said there are folks using them so you could go looking for grows and check out what kind of results are being had?
ok im just reading one of your threads you call the game!i might sound daft here but when you say uncleben mantras what is he or what is this im dying to no lol,im guna post some pics up tomorow of my plants as theres a few things i could do with help on.thanks

hey, i have 7 potential mothers growing from seed, there at about 5"-8" " under a 400 MH, I want to weed out the males asap... should i throw them under the 12/12 HPS till they show sex and then move the females back to 18/6 under the MH?? Is the way to do it or should i just be patient and wait till they show sex-i don't want to stress em out but wasting nutes on males sucks too.

THANKS!
Hey man, you can use the technique that Mr. Green uses in "I Grow Chronic" (not sure if ya heard of it, but its all over the net).

ANyway, the idea is essentially to take cuttings (just like a normal clone session), and take those separate clippings into the flower room & send to 12/12. Obv. aren't going to generate ANY type of yield from the cuttings. It merely is to ascertain sex faster to avoid wasting nutes & resources as you mentioned. I believe the little ladies need to be at least a month old before takin a cutting.

If you have a nice formal separate veg room & bloom room. Thats the route I would take.

Ya smellin what I'm cookin?

when i check my ph run off when i flush its about 6.3 to 6.4..you add the ph up/ph down in your feed to the ph that you want it so thats how it mixes with your soil...but im only learning like you are..riddleme will be more of a help than me,,try to ajust yor ph gradualy aswell,my ph in my feed is about 5.9..check your ph in your run off :)

im using canna coco nutrients a+b the a is veg an b is flower but it says to mix them both together wenever you use them lol,?
You are incorrect, the Coco A+B is one nutrient, but they can not bottle it in one, it is impossible, so you use it together.
Make sure you dilute it in water, don't mix it straight together.

The days of "veg" nutes and "bloom" nutes are pretty much over, and there are more advanced 2 part systems
taking over which have simple supplements for flower boosts.

About your hydro problem, I can't really find the derivation of technaflora nutes, not can I find what type
of N they predominantly use, typically, repetitive pH fluctuations occurs due to improper ratios of NO3 to NH4.

Technaflora seems to use a ton of Ammonia nitrogen, and not nearly enough Nitrate, this could be the cause
of much of your problems, recirculating systems need a great balance of Anions and Cations to keep their pH
stable. It is hard to explain in short. I would check this page.... It has it very detailed. pH on the Fritz!

Hey my lighting schedule got messed up and I had to put them under 12/12 for 2 days, but I just started to get my first true leaves so will this mishap stunt my growth at all, or will it still induce flowering at such a young age.
