Who’s growing Sativas?

I’m wondering how many of you have a fairly pure Sativa as part of your lineup? Do you find it’s worth your time? I find them to be a real treat but not sure how much time I can invest in growing the . Also moving soon and don’t want to be messing around.

I love the experience and effects of Sativas. Do you run em? Tell me your take

Growing Sativa at the mo coz I prefer the high to Indica any day.
So far she’s doing great; maybe a bit slow to begin with, but doing great so far (watch this space;-). She slowed down somewhat after I took her indoors, but nonetheless growing strong. Took her in for scrogging...

U started yet? How much time u got b4 moving?
Indoor or outdoors?

I’ve got some Island Sweet Skunk vegging outdoors. You can tell they want to be big. Extremely long days here in Alaska so I’m topping and aggressively supercropping as my flower tent won’t be free for them the middle of September.

Next Generation Seeds.
Be careful with Sweet Island bro, it will hit the ceiling indoors short of a hedge trimmer... lmao

Watch out for stretch, they take the hell off. You send in a small bush topped a few times that's like 2 foot tall it will be 4 foot in a week or two of HPS. But I got decent yields with sativas and sativa hybrids, it's all I grow.
Do u flip when plants are a certain height, or do u wait until preflower?

For me, if I grow any of my old sativas that I have bred for seeds indoors, plants like my 72 colombian gold or my 74 lambs breath, I have to keep topping the top until they start internoding because if I don't I will run out of room, height wise. But usually when I am growing them indoors, I just top them 2 times and then kick them into flower when they are between 15" to 18" and they still end up being 5 to 5 1/2 foot plants in 4 gallon nursery pots, which really are only 3 gallon pots. Both my colombian gold or my lambs breath can grow up to 5 times whatever size they were when they are flipped. Anyhow... I myself cannot grow them outside because where I live the season is just to short here, they are both 16 to 22 weeks strains, but a buddy of mine who lives in South Texas where I use to live grows them outside all the time and most times they end up being over 25 feet tall even if topped a few times.

90% of the plants I grow are Sativa, because it's simply the best weed there is.
They do take longer, like 10 weeks on average, and require more training but it's worth it.
Just tie them down (LST), and all will be good :)
Here are a few Super Sliver Haze plants that I grew last month

Don’t does pure breed Sativas anymore but like Sativa doms a lot. Got a couple Sleeskunk F2s at 58 days chunking up right now!
Also have a couple Greenpoint Butch Cassidy 30 days in, just top dressed and bothlean to narrow leaves and incredible frost, most I ever had so early, it’s a Cookie Wreck x Stardawg.

First several grows include some old Haze and I have raised Peak Seeds BC C99 more than a couple times. Backs my friends off after a hit or two, hard rush up the neck and scalp. Feels like being in an elevator going up fast. Scares some.

So I’m alright to flip b4 the first tiny buds begin to show at the moment I have about 10-12 Grow tips? Doing a scrog; got the plant hitting the net and started weaving 10 days ago about 1/5 covered. Grow space is 3 x 3 Only ever grown outdoors, never Sativas
Screen is about 10“ above screen.
Just really worried as temps are to hit over 37 Degrees so I figured if I flip now; keep the room dark for 24 hours and then switch to 12/12

Soz for being a dick and asking the same question twice.

Hi Dude...I'm a first time Kali Mist grower and love the way they grow. When I mainlined one of them...it took on that harizontal gracefulness like an African Acacia tree.

I had to chop a branch on one and it had some good buddage plus I had some cbd trim around. So I whipped up a small batch of cocobudder. A great up high and relaxing from the cbd. I'm coming on to some as I type.

Got some Golden Tigers growing too. Thats ase seeds ThaixMalawi. I have two thai penos and 1 Malawi pheno in bloom right now. The Thai require much room. More like a damn vine. But are showing nice little bud growth after about 5 weeks. I expect 14 weeks on the Thai.

Only time mine are preflower before the flip is if the roots have run out of room or some other stress. As far as height, it depends on the strain. If I were to run them again I would flip them at less then 18 ".. Had to bend and tie down the tops midway through flower which was annoying and time consuming lol.

im running a 60/40 sativa hybrid side by side with an indica dom, and the sativa is already on par to take at least 2 weeks longer than the other. I cant imagine having the patience for a pure sativa haha

Has anyone here ever tried growing Silver Haze? Will this be a good strain for me to try my first ever real sativa as far as growing goes, or is it a more challenging Sativa? I'm going to order some Strawberry Sour Diesel and Amherst Sour Diesel, would either of those two be more suitable for someone whose only grown hybrids their whole life? I plan on ScROGging in a 6.5x6.5x6.5ft space, so while I'm not in a cupboard type space, I'm still a little bit limited. Thanks in advance, y'all are the bomb.
