hello everyone i am a new grower, i am growing under 1000 Watt hordilux lights i start off the balace at 50% and raise them gradually i moved the plants from veg after 4 weeks, i am in my 6th week of flower and i notice some of my girlscout cookies from cali connection have small buds, my room is a steady 70 degrees i use aptus nutrience and i have a fan that ventilates my hoods which leads to a duct outside... i cant seam to understand why my buds are small or why my bottoms leaves are messed up and yellow...IMG_3376.JPG IMG_3377.JPG

Severe nitrogen toxicity- you are giving them way too much nutrient. Give them straight water for a couple weeks. Next time you feed with your synthetic nutrients use them at half strength or better yet get a TDS to mix your nutes to a specific ppm for accuracy. It's real easy to give too much.
Not only that you've still got another 3-4 weeks left before the bud is ripe; they really don't pack on much weight until around week 5/6 anyway. You still could harvest some decent nugs off her; GSC are not known to be huge yielders either.

What kind of base nutrients are you using?...I thought Aptus was a product line used WITH an existing nutes, a booster or something?

Do the tops of the plant and new growth look burnt? Looks better on top in the pics, but it's hard to see through HPS distortion...
Almost looks like salt build up to me...bottoms fried, tops OK...

Edit: 78° would be better for bud size...70 is kind of cool

I use Heavy 16 NPK, and i dont measure ppm because i dont know how to, and 78 degrees is good?

Measuring the ppm is easy. Just get a digital ppm Meter and measure. You can measure water. Your solution. And also your runoff just to name a few. Higher the ppm higher chance of burn etc..

78 is perrrfect...a little under as opposed to a little over if you can't hit 78...

And when that Aptus stuff came out a few years back, I knew a guy who was a shill for them who told me you use tiny amounts...maybe you used too much?

From the pics of the crunchy leaves id say the plants arent getting enough fresh air. Pipe somenin there or supplement with some co2....

There definitely burnt up way to much feed Causing a stop in bud production from lock out ,, also the strain it self creates small buds
I would flush your plants slowly with 4 - 5 times the amount as per soil volume , give it a week then cut your normal mixture to half of what you were presently feeding them

Hack all the nute companies and cut all their recommended dosages by 2/3.

I have yet to see a correct nute schedule from ANY of them...WTF already?

Its hard with so many strains some heavy feeders some light I have never had issues with nute schedules i mean no matter what nutrients i ever used i always start @ 1/4 recommended dosage and bump up accordingly to what plants shows me
