Makes sense. I just don’t understand how they can sell 25 for 105 when the next company sells for 130 for a pack of 6

Typically you are looking at F2s of stolen strains or F1s of similar genetics.
As mentioned, they will not be anywhere near the real deal....i.e. Sherbinskis Gelato group vs.. a number of gelatos.

Save your money for something good that is regular seeds.

For how long it takes to grow a plant start to finish, i wouldnt worry if you can shave a week or two off of flower, best to focus on quality. 2kg off 2400w should be easy. I would recommend pheno hunting a few strains and keeping mothers around... thats how you really get the best quality. Out of 10 seeds usually one or two will be "keepers". Your obviously not in america so i have no advice on where to pick up seeds.

Its easy to make tons and tons of seeds. Breeding is where the real work is at. If you just use other breeders seeds to make more seeds, well they could sell them much much cheaper than that im sure.. I recently seeded one branch of an autoflower, and didnt even try to seed it real full, but just threw some pollen on the main bud and a bit on smaller ones beneath and ended up with like 300 seeds from that. Imagine if you have even two very big photoperiodic plants and you seed them full.. You might end up with tens of thousands of seeds. And imagine if you got 50 of these plants..

Yes most of the cheaper stuff you see is just the same strain being copied that you here is really lovely....
I.e gelato 33 is the pheno of the gelato the hype is for,

Now seeds companys are "copying" gelato but the parents will have came from differnt seed stock making them be differnt phenos and the off spring seeds are all differnt phenos, you end up with nothing like gelato you hear about......
I have seen numerous cheap gelato seeds bought and not one of them have ever been like the gelato i had from california

Why are some seeds so much cheaper? Because plants produce a lot of seeds and some people have lower prices to sell more. That doesn't necessarily mean that the seeds are not good. Maybe the outfit you referenced isn't in to gouging their customers and is able to make a decent profit without bending people over a barrel and giving it to them in the backside. Some breeders actually breed while others just make seeds. Even some of the expensive seeds are just pollen chucks using obtained genetics. People can call their seeds any strain they want. It doesn't mean that they have anything to do with the original.

I think most seeds are extremely overpriced, over hyped, and put out by people just making seeds with no thought on any actual breeding. Try some of those inexpensive seeds and see what you end up with. You'll probably be surprised. $130 for a pack of 6 seeds is just stupid. I've never and never will pay that for a damn pot seed. I don't care how many people rave about them. I've grown some so called rave strains side by side with crosses I've made and genetics from some breeders that people talk trash about. My crosses and the so called inferior genetics produced as well or better grown under the same environment.

The cannabis industry is full of hype, misinformation, and shills pushing this product or that breeder. You can't believe anything you read or hear as as you don't know the motivation of the source or if their biased for one reason or another. Many push specific products because they get kickbacks in the form of free stuff while others have a business interest. Best thing you can do is try different genetics and see for yourself. I have and found that most strains don't live up to the hype and are not worth the $20 - $30 a seed people are paying. Chasing the latest strain because of something you read online is a fools errand.
