Why are these buds so different?

The first two pics are plant #1, and the second two are plant #2. The buds started out looking the same (plant 1 & 2 aren't the same, but the buds on each were consistent in appearance), but now (day 51 since 12/12) there are a couple tops that started looking much different. What is going on???

Most of plant #2 looks about ready to harvest, but 2 or 3 tops started growing white hairs again and isn't as compact as the other buds, and the top of plant #1 (pic 1) doesn't have hairs at all?! And it has what looks to be little shoots coming out. Is it a hermie?!

Are the buds in plant #2 different because now one of them (pic 3) is producing seeds?

Or am I just neurotic?

differant strain maybe?

i had that with a skunk plant it just kept growing the plant was done but there was no main cola@??????????????

hmm, to me the plant in the 1st pic looks like its may be reging, or trying to...see those vertical shoots coming from the flower? I cant see them real well but those look like either:

A: reveg growth
B: hermie growth

Not the best pic so I could be wrong but from what you have given so far, thats my best two guesses.

Thats what I'm thinking too. It looks like a new shoot or something. I'll take a pic when lights are off tonight.

And to the other posters, yes they are different strains. I'm talking about the difference in the buds WITHIN each plant, like between pic 1 &2, and between pic 3&4.

I really hope that isn't a hermie! How can I check?
