Why are these plants flowering?

Hey all. I recently moved back to a legal state a few months ago, and have set up a couple tents for a personal grow. I grew a few times 15+ years ago without major issues but this time seems like one damned thing after another lol :dunce:

Right now I've got two CBD strains going...a Medihaze from dispensary herb bagseed, and three CBD Critical Mass from Dinafem/CBD Crew.

I bought the Critical Mass. They came sealed in a little tin from the breeders. They're supposed to be feminized photoperiod, but they're acting like autos afaik. I've never grown autos, but they started flowering in their 3rd week from seed while under 18/6.

Not expecting them to do that, I had FIM'd them on the 5th, transplanted from 1G to 3G on the 8th, and was going to give them a week or two before taking clones from eveything to flower.

I've changed the lighting to 20/4 since hoping they'd start vegging again. Think they will? or should I just say fuck it and put them in my flower tent.

I'm not as concerned about yield etc as I am in understanding why this is happening. Also, I miss regular seeds, but that's another post lol

Those are supposed to be fast flowering. There are many indica's or indica dominant strains that are fast flowering but are not actually modified auto's even though they flower just as fast. I grew an indica called Ketama. The males started showing in four weeks and the female started flowering soon after. I'd put them back under 12/12 and let them flower. Get something else that has a longer veg stage if you want bigger plants.

"Critical Mass CBD is an Indica-dominant feminised cannabis seed by Dinafem Seeds designed for those lacking the space and the time to grow cannabis."
