Why are water leaf stems purple on top during flower

Only the top half of the leaf main stem

Could be light intensity, They turn red to sun screen themselves a bit.

Because of light, its okey not a big deal unless it is too close

I haven’t measured but I’ll pull up a few inches thanks @Kooks.RedL

Thank you the were around the 18 in mark I raised up to 23 let’s see if that helps

It's called High Irradiance Reaction; you can reduce light or increase temps a little.

Rasta Jeff says he cuts them off as soon as they go red, anyone heard anything like this before?

Is it a problem? My ladies usually do the same thing but never ran into problems from it.
