Why do people take off.....

That kind of reminds me of my friend who took off his engine cover (or whatever the fuck it's called) so his dodge neon would be lighter, and therefore faster.

If you leave them on they act as a "crude" pre-filter for your carbon filter, catching hair, webs, all kind of dirt. better there then in the filter.

Whatever works, I was just curious. Saw it last year when I first started growing, kept assuming people just lost them or broke them or, idk, something.

I saw your journal poly, and, yeah, that's what made me ask, haha.

LOL @ your friend for thinking it would really make a difference...At the end of a day...You are still in a neon...EVEN if you have a SRT-4 u are still in a neon. O well...I have friends who try and make slow cars fast...

Me too. A person can make a honda faster than a ferrari, but the guy in the ferrari already won before they hit the gas.

I did mine mainly for space constraints... but may put it back on if I don't stop cracking my skull on the blades:dunce:

That's about as smart as these kids that put aftermarket intake kits, and aftermarket mufflers, but leave the stock connector pipe from down pipe to cat. and from cat. to muffler.
