why do the stems change color

i have some seedlings and they are a little purple on the stems but my other one flowering has a tiny bit of color on the fan leaves stem? anybody know why

Red, purplish....happens...you using bagseed surprise ? Diff. strains..no pic..can't really tell........mine did it.

purp is good alot of indicas tead to turn purple train wreck is deep dark purple stem its whole life
