Just my opinion but there are a couple of reasons I grow from seed. First I'm just a weed whore, I can't resist trying new varieties.
But I believe that if you grow from clones all the time the plants get weaker, I think they lose resistance to pest would probably be more accurate. The mould spores are always present and I find that clones are more likely to be affected. Growing from seed allows for several new varieties that have not been present before and they seem more resistant. Also if you have several varieties no matter what strikes you will not get wiped out and always have something for your efforts. Where its true with clones you know what your going to get and how long to flower but several different kinds you will learn more in general. I grow at least 6 kinds of weed, some for different highs and some to try and some just in case. You never have too much but you can have too little. Next year I'm growing SkyDog and Mikush and who knows what else.
