Fwiw. They are Samsung style diodes. Doesnt mean they are Samsung brand. I run into this misadvertisement all the time with my tuning/racing shop

I was thinking more along the line of "bosch" fuel injectors. There is a hundred Chinese companies selling the "Bosch" style. And they look, fit and function the same. But the quality isnt always there. Dont get me wrong. I got a china turbo for my race truck lol

Yes I got that hotrodharley. So many claim 1000 or more watts but are only 100 give or take. Stupid misleading stuff. But 100 watts is the same as the SF1000, MF1000 and PF 1000. In good company!!!!

Hop on Alibaba and shop for the lm301b dioides. I have because I have a couple dead lm301b infared diodes in chinese lights i need to replace. Theres at least a dozen manufacturers making the lm301b in china. It is the diode design, fit and function that names them an lm301b, not who manufactured it. Most genuine Samsung stuff is manufacured in Taiwan. Not china.

Well shiat. That sucks if true. Flat out false advertising. But, I pulled the gun, want to check them out. I have a SP1000D, the shittier version of the 100 watt Spider Farmer board (that does NOT use either the meanwell drivers or the LM301Bs or whatever), so I will see how it compares to that. If it can't beat that we know it was false advertising. I'll do some comparisons and get some pics for the forum, hopefully adding a little bit to our core knowledge ha.

Actually what they are doing is using it as a model number, but many pot heads are clueless morons and think it's the power rating, and sellers know this, it's why they all do it, cause it sells their product.
The Actually power draw is always clearly stated, as it has to be by law.
