Why oh why did I get a 3x3?

NEVER mix bleach and vinger together not saying you would just giving everyone heads up! I know someone who died that way.
This happened a few years back at a Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant. In the kitchen somebody mixed it and was mopping the floor heavily in the kitchen and it forced everyone out. One of the employees stayed behind to try and clean it up but he died.

I remember that. Wasn't that long ago.

I wanted a 3x3 until I couldn't seem to find one with at least one side door. I was sold a 315cmh with a 4x4 tent, and it really doesn't flower a 4x4 properly. So, have since bought a bar style light for my 4x4, but still have the 315cmh, and would like to use it, and thought 3x3 would be great for it..., if I could find one with at least one side door.
Just a thought, use the 315 in the winter and just keep your plants in the center 3x3 area of the 4x4. You can increase airflow along the walls with fans.

Thanks for your thought on the 3x3 tent.
Yes, makes sense in a way, but for me I meant the coverage, and want to maximize yield, so I scrog, and the cmh doesn't truly flower a 4x4 area. And, yes, I would only use the cmh in winter, the colder months of the year, and keep many fans for adequate airflow.

I have one room to grow in, and it isnt that large a room. My 4x4 has a door on both sides, as well as the front. It's a Secret Jardin DR120. I grow in SIPs, so once the plants are in the SIPs, I generally don't move the containers. Also, once the plants are scrogged, nothing can be moved. So, having side access is imperative for this style of growing. I suppose, side access wouldn't be such a requirement if you could move your plants and containers in and out of your tent easily. SIPs have solved my poor watering practices, and I prefer to continue using them in my future grows. I suppose I should have stated that in my post to the thread. Hope that makes it clearer why side doors, or at least one on a 3x3 would be important to me.

I hear ya. I've done the same......

But I never really had a problem. In the 4x4, yes.... it's a stretch. Lol... that's why I use it for drying.

For me, the 3x3 was the goldilocks zone... not too big... not too small.

Where it sits, it hasn't moved in a few years. I keep my tents, and the room, pretty clean at all times. Makes it easy to clean and sanitize, after harvest.

Check with places that do tent repairs or even an upholsterer. Pretty simple making a door and sewing a zipper on if you are equipped.

AC Infinity 3x3x6 has side doors but they dont extend all the way down. Enough for access anyway.

Similar setup over here man! Light included. I love the Timbergrow 4VS. Shame they rebranded and now include more features.

I suggest get an UVC lamp with ozone. I use it between each grow for the whole room, tent, pots, water canisters etc..

My 3x3x6 AC infinity tent, to my wife's dismay, in the bedroom. Got a white label Kosher Kush, a 2 dollar a seed Do-si-do's x fortune cookie and another 2 dollar a seed Jungle cake x wedding tree from NASC. They are at 7 weeks of flower. Growing in 5 gallon SIP buckets. Red label Walmart Pro-mix with added perlite, fertilizing with Maxibloom and 1/4 tsp of Pro-tek for some added silicon and a smidge more N. Got 2 Viparspectra XS 1500 lights in there and an AC infinity 4" fan exhausting through the roof. I should have put in some netting as the K.K. buds are getting so heavy they are falling over.
The Do-si-do looks almost ready at 7 weeks!

Here's my 18" x 21" box- ghetto garage gelato grow. Wanted a place to sprout some seeds and start a clone while the previous tent dwellers finished. Tent wasn't in the budget so here we are with stuff I had on hand. 100 watt bloomspect light, 4" AC infinity 95 cfm fan, and a garment box from u-haul. Made a clone from a freebie Gelato seed and here she is. Currently at 10 weeks of flower. The heat is starting to cause some problems, I fear the end is near for this one. 5 gallon standard pot [not SIP] same feed and media for this one as the others. Have to wait for cooler weather to do any more growing in the garage.

Does anybody out there have some experience with a SOG grow in a 3x3? Thinking about a SOG grow wondering how many plants I could fit doing a SOG.

You chose 3x3 because your awesome lol. I definitely have a 3x3 too. Actually 4 3x3's and 2 2x4's, and 2 10x10's. I just bought some new leds for a 2 4x8's I'm going to order shortly. I'm short so the 3x3's are max of my reach I'm a scrogger. I have been through almost every tent size except 1x1,2x2,6x6, and 8x8. My tents are side by side so I can only use the front doors.

3x3 is my absolute favorite. It so versatile.
2x4 is great for veg, autos, mothers, 1-2 nice size flowering plants
4x4 is a breeze with drip lines or ebb and flow tables.

Great excuse to get a second tent! See - I did that too, I am trying to pull a pound out of my 3x3 this grow, but also bought a 5x5 when I realized I wanted more space. Think of it this way, 34 SF is better than 25.
Once you do it, it'll be a breeze. I hit it a few grow ago and been consistently pulling it since. I think 3x3's will max out around 1 1/2 or so not including larf

Yeah I've done it. It depends on the pots really. I personally can fit 25 max in the 11x11 disposable non woven fabric pots. I've even ran odd numbers too. But normally it's either 20 or 25. Depending on size when flipping.

I use SIP planters for my veg. Sometimes I think about changing it up then I kill a couple plants and knock off the shenanigans until I get the Idea to try something else kill a couple plants then reassemble the plants again lol.
I don't think I will ever get away from it lol. It's just too simple to fail.

I like to sanitize my tent between grows. I take it outside and spray the inside down with vinegar and then wash it good with soap and water. Which means I have to disassemble my 3x3 'cause it won't fit through the frigging doorway. If it was a 2x4 it would have fit. Plus it's hard to get to the plants in back, a 2x4 gives you better access to the plants plus there are better lights available for a 2x4 configuration. But noooo, mister smarty pants figured the 3x3 cost the same but had more square footage.
I like my 3x3x6. Although not using it at the moment, I think it's a nice compromise between a 2x4 and a 4x4. As far as post grow cleanings I usually just use the clorox or whatever brand of wet disinfecting wipes. I keep things as clean as practical during the grows so a few minutes with the wipes and all is good.
