Why tf don’t led drivers use the same power cords as hid ballasts

That’s all just a gripe. Got a new 480w bar light on the far side of the 8x4 cords only like 6 feet. I have extension cords so it’s not really a big deal but I’ve got a bunch of 25ft blast power cords just collecting dust.

Because bean counters dgaf about practically or function. Same reason I spent $1400 on a phone, and it doesn't cone with a fucking charging block

Yeah I was not expecting to have to buy a new charging brick when I switched to iPhone last year. That was also pretty annoying

Like I get the short cord on budget lights, less copper=less cost but damn let me use my old long cords
