Will a 2 hour bath in 160 C oil kill powdery mildew?

I'm in a bind, half my harvest had powdery mildew and I haven't been able to wash it out of the buds.

If I can't save the bud for vaporizing I was wondering if I could safely make coconut oil?

I use the Magical Butter Machine set for 160 F for 2 hours, will this kill the mildew? Screwed up the temperature in the title, sorry.

Introduce a temperature spike

Powdery mildew is also controlled through close attention to temperature. Both types of fungi that cause powdery mildew are sensitive to heat and stop growing when temperatures range over 90°F (32°C). They quickly perish when the temperature rises to 100°F (38°C).

Introducing a temperature spike to kill powdery mildew can be implemented, but if it is done improperly it could be detrimental to the plants.

The 3% hydrogen peroxide you get at CVS or the supermarket will kill it. Assuming you have around a pound, put your buds in a 5 gallon bucket and cover them with hydrogen peroxide. Let is sit for at least a couple of hours until the reaction stops and it's no longer generating heat.
Pour off the liquid and rinse thoroughly with clean cold water.
Spread out the wet buds on a drying rack and let them sit until they're dry. If you have a drying tent and can maintain 60% humidity, so much the better.
The process will detract from the feel, appearance, and taste of the buds but they'll be safe and smokeable.

Ok I am confused. 160 C or F?

Apparently PM dies above 100 F, so the Magical Butter Machine ought to do the job.

Anyone cook with PM bud with the intention of killing the PM?
