Will a large plant increase dry room RH?

I'm looking to chop one of my plants down soon. The drying area is a bit low on RH for proper drying though. It's been averaging about 45% RH.

The drying area is a 5x5 cedar closet.

Will one large plant hung whole increase the RH to a proper RH of about 62%? Or should I be thinking of breaking the humidifier out?

It may increase it it may not. 45% isn’t awful so long as you have your temps in check to keep them terps

Get a small swamp cooler like a Portacool. I use one all the time, especially when drying. Just add water. Unlike a small room humidifier, it will not clog up your filters and coat everything in a white powder from the calcium due to it atomizing the water. You'd be surprised at how much white powder you can collect over everything with an atomizer humidifier.... and put it on a timer that will kick on and off to maintain the desired level.

That only happens with those atomizers though. The cool mist ones trap that powder in the filters, I rinse mine daily and swap out completely monthly. Unfortunate though, the atomizers do a way better job raising humidity.

Does the room smell like cedar. If so won't your buds smell that way
Slight cedar smell. I did a search to find out if it would effect it, and everything I read said that people have dried in cedar closets with no issues. The buds should end up smelling like their terpenes, not the cedar.

if the rh is low simply put a bucket of water in there with a fan blowing on it you need airflow in there anyway and just keep a check on it if it goes past 62% take the bucket out
