I am having a housing inspection were poeple will be inspecting my home. I need to hide my plants. They are in vegetive mode so they dont smell but for the sake of stealth will they be fine with 3 days of no lights? The owner will be in an out fixing the house to pass inspection.

No they wont. They will think its time to flower and start producing pistils though. Ive heard of clones being shipped for two days with no light and when they arived they all had small hairs coming out. Once they get back on the 24 hour light cycle they will revert back to veg. Kinda slows things down a bit but within a week you should be good.

How old are they?
And if won't kill them it will just stress it out and like the other poster said, make them switch to flowering. If you do re-veg them it increases your chance of a male/hermie by 30%. So be careful.
And about the clones, I haven't heard of them rooting and flowering while being shipped but I could be wrong.
Good luck with the inspection though.

i ran a test with one of my plants a couple years ago just in case i had to do the same thing, at the time i was doin some major remods on the house. i stuck a plant that had been vegging for 3 weeks in a dark cabinet, just gave it water every once in awhile. after 3 or 4 days the plant started to turn a pale yellow at the top. after 10 days pretty much the whole top half of the plant was a very pale yellow but other than that it looked healthy. i threw it back under the light on the 10th day and after a few days of light the plant was back to normal...it greened right up, never threw any pre-flowers. you'll be good.

If you have or can get one of those battery powered LED lanterns, it won't provide enough light for any growth, but it will provide enough to keep them from going into flower if they were inclined.

Already rooted clones being shipped from another part of the country. No inspection
